Beware! Lillian Vernon not only sells merchandise but also a bogus rewards club! I was lured in by purchasing an item online. When completing the billing process they make it impossible for you not to complete the transaction without signing up.

Once they have your billing information the charges begin. The company charges $1.95 in addition to your purchase price. This makes many people including me to think of it as a processing or shipping charge.

AHA! This is when to Beware! The monthly $14.95 charge starts the month after your purchase. If you do not watch your billing each month you are sucked in. I had no idea what Lillian Vernon Rewards was until I searched the web and found this web site. I would have never known what to do.

So BEWARE! My friends. Do not be the fool I was. Contact the company and your biller (credit, debit or bank) right away. Try not to be sucked in without a word!
