Facilitates Fraudelent Account Activity, Suggests that the Card Holder Liar and Thief

Someone was using my BoA credit card to open up multiple XBOX Live accounts in a city 800 miles from where I live. After many phone calls with BoA reps and their supervisors, numerous faxes sent in haste ("if we do not receive this information in three days, we will permanently disallow your fraud claim"), I received a letter from BoA stating that the charges are valid, that I had better pay, and if I don't, they'll go to collections.

Why investigate fraud at all? Do they ever find for the card holder? Why would I allow multiple XBOX Live subscriptions to numerous people in a city 800 miles away that I have never visited and have no intention of visiting.

BoA's customer service is bad, and their fraud protection is worse.
