Warning to All Brides Buying A Dress. You Might Not Get It Here!?

On 2/20/09 my Fiance and I were looking to buy a dress that day because our wedding was on 3/07/09. We went to Atta Girl and were met by Kim the owner. I found a dress I liked but it was tighter then I liked so Kim said she could order one and have ready for pick up on 2/24/09. I said are you sure, we dont have time to go looking another day. We had taken off work for that day only. She said No Problem, Dont worry.

Well, on 2/24/09 no call. On 2/24/09 i called and was told by her husband she was with a bride and he would give her the message. No call back, so on 2/25/09 i called again. Once again her husband answered and said she was with a bride and he would give her the message. I waited three hours and called her back.

Finally, she answered the phone! I said Hi Kim is my dress ready? The excuses started flying! First she said she had been trying to call us. Lie! We both have good cell phones with Voicemail and caller id, she had all the phone #'s. Then she said the warehouse sent the wrong color. Then it was, they sent the wrong size, Then it was they { the warehouse} didnt ship it at all.

I was stunned, So I said Well my wedding is on 3/07/09. Before i could finish she said i could come get my money back she was open till seven. So my fiance and I took off work and went to get our money back and find another dress. When we got there her husband came out and gave us our refund.

Kim didnt come out or even apologize for the bind she left us in. So a warning to all Brides in this area. You may not get your dress here! Kim's business practices are misleading and unsatisfactory
