Alltel billing UNAUTHORIZED charges for PredictoMobile and Gamerdate, Check your bill!

In Nov. Alltel billed me $9.99 for an unauthorized service called "PredictoMobile". I contacted them and followed their instructions to send a "stop" message to this company. I was told that Alltel had nothing to do with this company or the charges. Really? Why are they collecting money for them from their customers? What are they doing with the money they collect on behalf of Predicto Mobile? How can they say they have nothing to do with this company or these unauthorized charges???

Alltel did agree to issue a credit for this unauthorized charge and the credit did appear on my Dec. Bill along with yet ANOTHER unauthorized $9.99 charge on behalf of PredictoMobile.

In Jan. I was no longer being charged $9.99 from PredictoMobile but now ANOTHER unauthorized charge was added to my bill from another company called "Gamerdata". Once again, I called Alltel Customer Service and was given the same song and dance. "We do not have anything to do with this company or these charges." Please...

Alltel customer service tried to convince me that I had authorized the charge by responding to a text message from Gamerdata. I explained once again that we have never recieved a text, or responded to a text, from this or any other company... Ever!!!

Alltel customer service did cancel futher billing for me and is supposed to issue a credit on my next bill but I believe that Alltel should take responsiblity for adding unauthorized charges to my bill on behalf of these scam artists.

How can Alltel claim they have nothing to do with this? How many people are being scammed and not noticing these charges... Just paying the bill and not paying attention.

I found the corporate office phone number 501-905-8000 on the internet. I wanted to voice a formal complaint from a long time customer about these unauthorized charges and let them know that I did not appreciate Alltel's participation in this scam. I asked the operator to connect me with someone to voice my complaint to and guess what... I was sent back once again to customer service... Obviously Corporate Alltel doesn't want to hear their customers do not appreciate their participation in this scheme. If they don't want to hear it, then I'm sure the public does.

What ever you do check your cell phone bills... Do not let them scam you too!
