I contacted Capital one today and they were closed. They have charged me an additional $73.00 on my current payment which is due on 2/17/009. I have never been 30 days late since, receiving the car. I informed them in June that I had some health issues and then became umemployed in October. I receive unemployment compensation and told them the payment would not be made on the 17th but before 30 days.
I have emails from them informing me that they appreciated my efforts to pay. However, they keep sending letters and calling me. I called to check to make sure my payment for January had been received and this is when I learned of the $73.00 charge. I sent an email requesting that this charge be cancelled because they are closed today.
