Has anyone working for US Xpress wondered why they just recently changed from practical miles to actual miles?
Well I can tell you that it's not because they love their drivers and wanna put more money in your pockets! Cause we all know that's what the Per Diem is for that they keep pushing for you to participate in! ;)
No, they did it out of FEAR! Ask Swift drivers why US Xpress did it. It's because Swift is about to get their cheap ass handed to them in the form of of a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT that just got the go ahead to go to trial! US Xpress as well as other big trucking companies have been cheating drivers for years with this BS practical miles vs actual miles business and as my granddad use to say, "the rooster has come home to roost!"
US Xpress is gonna get it to and I'm personally talking to some "people" who are very interested in this practice!
That's the ONLY reason they started changing their policy on practical miles vs actual miles!
