Hughes Net
Horrible service, deceptive, no level of responsibility or accountability - no US customer service Clinton Mississippi

Shops, Products, Services

After living in California for the last 20 years, where I enjoyed cable internet service for the last 3-5 years, and DSL before that, my family and I relocated to a small town less than 20 miles outside of Jackson, MS. Unfortunately, those miles mean a lot, as there is no level of high-speed internet out here (no cable, no DSL, no Foxfire, nothing), so in order for me to do my job, we got Hughes Net.

I'll just skip to the chase:

No disclosure about the Fair Access Policy, except on their website, which presumably you can't see, if you don't have internet.

No competent customer service - as a matter of fact, they don't even want to send you to a customer service rep. They want a would-be "technician" to tell you that your usage has exceeded what they have determined it should be (i.E. Fair Access), and to have you pay your bill. There are no customer service reps in the US. Only the folks who sold it to you, and then absolve themselves from all future encounters re: the service.

This the worst internet service I've had in roughly 10 years.in short I would just say, if you have a choice -DON'T GET SUCKERED into this PSEUDO-SERVICE.
