Renting in The Colony Texas? Watch Out for Pacesetters Property Management. They will Steal Your Deposit!

If you are renting in The Colony Texas I would be aware of Pacesetters Property Managment and Marsha Barron. They will steal your deposit and make up invalid excuses as to why you don't not get your deposit back.

Here is their current list of excuses as to why they are keeping my deposit
1. Carpet was damaged (flat out lie)
The carpet was left in perfect condition, I was not in the place very long, I had maid service weekly and even steamed the carpet when I left. The carpet looked brand new everywhere. I have multiple witnesses to back me on this.

2. Move out notice not recieved
I handed move out notice directly to Marsha Barron, she is claiming she never got this as some sort of excuse for not refunding any of my deposit.

3. Property was not allowed to be shown
I don't know what this means, Pacesetters put a lockbox on my door 60 days before my move out date, most companies only make you show you house for 30 days. They had agents calling early in the morning wanting to show the house in 15 minutes with little or no warning, sometimes not even warning me, just entering into my house with almost no warning. Such as knock wait 10 seconds and come in.

4. Certified Letters sent
Letters did NOT contain my refund check, just a few invalid and lame excuses as to why I was not getting my refund check

My move out date was over 1 year ago and I still have not recieved my refund check.

If anyone know whos else I can complain to please let me know, I am starting with the Texas Renters Assoc.
