DirecTV Contractor taking advantage of their Subcontractors and refusing to pay them. Des Moines Iowa

I was hired as a subcontractor in Des Moines, Iowa by Dan B. Reece of U.S. Satellite Services, LLC to install DirecTV systems. I worked for him and his partner Richard O. Severs for about 2 or so months before I realized what a shady company they were running. After hearing about other sub's not getting paid and one guy had to sue Dan B. Reece for $5000 I decided to quit working for them. When I quit they still owed me money for jobs I had completed.

I went in on 12-20-08 to collect my check and they said one of their office ladies had shredded their contracts and they would not pay me unless I signed a new contract. Well I was no longer working for them and I refused to enter into another contract. The contract they tried getting me to sign was phony. It basically says they can take money from me whenever and without notification. It also says they can hold my money for up to 90 days. Which they did on the check they refused to give me they said they were holding $500. I told them I was not going to sign the contract and they still haven't paid me.

I have been researching them and their company. They have been hiring felons to go into peoples houses and Richard O. Severs has a criminal record in the state of Minnesota and his sister who works with him Elise L. Severs has a violent criminal record. I am in the process of contacting DirecTV, filing lien's, and suing them and their company to try to recover my money.
