Broken 15/16 Socket Not Replaced Under Lifetime Warranty

Lifetime guarantee on Husky tools, supposedly. A 15/16 socket with a 1/2" drive snapped on me under normal use, and I tried to swap it. No chance. None of the Home Depot stores near me were willing to open a new set to replace a single socket. Next I found the toll-free number on the website. Several tries later, I heard that Husky refuses to honor the warranty, as the set overall had no defect.
Two more sockets have broken since. Honestly they are cheap: soft steel dressed up with nice chrome plating. I will never again purchase a Husky tool. Snap-on or Craftsman will be my brands, since those companies support what they sell.
