Scam and cheating

My family and I booked our vacation in the smoky mountains online with Cobbly Nob Rentals. We booked this beautiful cabin and paid online. We received our confirmation and everything seemed just fine. Upon our arrival, we were informed that they had to switch us to another cabin because the one we booked was no longer available.

The excuse they gave us seemed very odd to me, and the way they went about informing me seemed unusual as well. The cabin they moved us to was small, dirty, stunk as if it hadn't been cleaned in months, bugs were everywhere. It was just filthy! I booked a gorgeous cabin with a beautiful view of the smoky mountains and what we got was far far less. Needless to say we didn't stay. The management refused to refund our money.

A couple of days after I got home I started to do some research on this company. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the cabin this company moved us to was one of 14 which they themselves own.

Apparently, the owners of this company like to play people for fools. They blame the move on the owners of the cabin we booked, (which I also learned this cabin isn't even managed by Cobbly Nob Rentals any more and hasn't been in months, the owners of that cabin changed management companies it seems) they show the dump they put us in online as being $150.00 per night, but we were charged $260.00 per night.

I plan to do all I can do to ensure that this company's name is plastered all over the internet and I have filed a complaint with the Tennessee Real Estate Commission about the 'bait and Switch' con game these guy's are running.
