Took money out of my account - -without notice - -and won't return it!

Beware of Dish Network!
I called Dish Network to cancel and return one of the two receivers I subscribed to. I was told that they would send me a box to return it in. Many weeks later, I finally received the box. Judging by the amount of time it took them to send me a box, I (foolishly) figured I needn't race to the mailbox and return it.
Soon after I mailed it back to them, they charged my checking account $100 for the receiver—WITHOUT NOTICE! No phone call, no email, no letter, no inquiry of any kind asking if I had returned the box. I incurred $117 in overdraft fees. I absolutely freaked out! They took $217 out of my checking account and have refused to return it! I gave them the UPS tracking number, they verified it, and they still have not refunded the original $100 or acknowledged the $117 in fees in any way.
I was told, via email (I have the proof!) that the money would be refunded when they received the box. It has NOT been refunded. I was told to read the contract, they had every right to steal from me.
Their customer service has simply been abysmal. They could have called, written, or emailed me; they could have suspended service until the box was returned, they could have charged me another month rental fee, but no. They have shown not the slightest care about taking $217 out of my checking account, and again, NOT RETURNING IT! Their callous lack of response has been stunning.
I certainly would recommend staying away from this group, they don't care about their customers.
