Casio didn't stand by their warranty Nationwide

Bought my son a Casio watch in March through Amazon.com. Even though it was water resistant to so many meters, it fogged up every time he took a shower or went in the lake. My mistake was I didn't send it back then, but the fog in the watch would clear up after an hour or so.in September my son told me his watch wasn't working. I looked at the watch, and indeed it wasn't working, and one of the side push buttons was missing. I asked him what happened to the button, he said he didn't know. Since the watch was under warranty for a year I sent it in to be repaired. About 2 weeks latter I received a bill to replace the watch. At the bottom of the bill was a statement that the watch had water damage. NO KIDDING! So I called and told them the same story that I told you. Casio said they would have to contact the person who diagnosed the problem to find out where the leak came from. I finally received a phone message that my case was closed and that the water damage was due to the missing button. Of course it's my word against theirs, but it didn't matter to them that it fogged up from the get go. Lessons learned: 1) send back anything once it starts to act up, and 2) DO NO PURCHASE CASIO PRODUCTS.
