Great Expectations
Don't know of a LEGAL way to beat these crooks, but

Was suckered into the LA office... They post signs all over town (South Bay Singles, Westside singles) which all link to their scam. Anyway, I started having misgivings after a photo session (jerk named Stan who also pretends to be a manager), and attempted to cancel. Woman who ran the site (Lisa?) was rude and haughty, telling me I couldn't get my money back, daring me to sue them, that sort of petty stuff.

Fortunately, I have friends who are bikers (REAL Redwood Originals) and after a visit from a couple of them, GE wrote me a FULL REFUND check for my exorbitant service contract.

Anyway, most of the men in their computers were "inactive". I talked to other people who've been ripped off by them as well and they say if you do find an active account the person will refuse a date 90% of the time. Probably these accounts don't exist anyway.

These schmucks are liars and rip-off artists, but they rolled over without a whimper when they realized I had other options than the court system. I'm not advocating anything illegal here, but a rip-off is a rip-off, and when all they have to hide behind is a contract, they're going to feel pretty confident about lawsuits.
