Singles Station
Product not worth a fraction of the cost. Company is misleading

Singles Station in a nutshell: I get better customer service when I buy a ten dollar item at Best Buy. (I spent thousands of dollars on this service which amounts to several hundred per a match). Furthermore, at Best Buy (or just about any business) I could take that item back if it ended up being less than what I expected. Furthermore, at Best Buy I actually get to see the product before I buy it!

I do not want to give out too many details. I saw where someone else did and someone from the company figured out who the person was and they did a rebuttal where they gave the first name and details about that person. This sounds like something that SS would do. But why is ripoff letting them post a rebuttal with an individual's name? If I give too many details they might cancel my membership, seeing that the contract forbids the giving out of details of the plan.

They do send you matches. If anyone isn't getting matches you might contact a lawyer. The contract says they need to give you matches in a timely manner. If they aren't doing this they are in breach. If you are thinking the contract is too vague enough for them to give you matches then the contract might be considered illegal.

But they do send matches. However, I meet people all the time through other avenues, such as through friends, who are much more compatible that those I meet on Singles Station. The price is not worth it. I want to say that the people who actually match you up are sincerly trying. However, they continue to send me matches that do not match up to certain criteria that I have specifically asked for several times in the past. I should have been wiser when I asked them how many people they have in their system who are near my age. They wouldn't tell me. I don't think they have that big a pool to match you up with. Thus, it would be more productive for me to spend a few bucks on eharmony, match, or whatever. This is no stretch. Experience has told me I get awhole lot more for a whole lot less pursing ANY other avenue when it comes to meeting someone. Singles Station is a huge rip off. Every single person I have talked to who is in Singles Station is very regrettful of ever joining.
