Trucking refuses to pay owner operators monies owed cheated dying man out of thousands dirty SOB's

This company is owned and operated by William Carl and Doris Ann Swiney. My husband put up over $6000.00 to help this man finance his authority. The agreement was that my husband's three trucks could run under his authority at no charge. My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer in July. That is when it hit the fan. C&D made up one excuse after another and stalled about paying us.

Then they had to have a 5% brokerage fee. Carl let a load of produce he was hauling rot when his truck broke down. He faults my husband for this somehow and charged him 7500.00 for half of the lost load. It was his decision to sit there and let it rot. It was no one's fault that his truck broke down. He could have put the load in cold storage. Carl never paid the broker on this load either. The broker fronted the 15,000 loss up front.

I know this because the broker has contacted me about it. These people then refused to pay my husband anymore at all. They have falsifed a 1099, that I disputed with the IRS. It was about $60,000 over what they did pay my husband. I had to dispute it.

These people knew my husband was not going to live and took full advantage of a bad situation. The attorney general of TN has been of no use. There are no three of us now that this company owes. It is beyond me how they sleep at night.
