Defective 4 ton Floor Jack

In August we bought a Builder 4 Lot low-profile support port.in March 08 we delivered the port since it was dripping gas and wouldn't contain the fat of the small-car. The port was changed, but simply this week (9/13), the alternative port was also dripping and wouldn't maintain fat. Fortunately the we'd previously positioned jack-stands underneath the vehicle, normally it might have fallen onto my spouse. Therefore, being faithful Builder/Sears clients, we returned to Sears anticipating them to look after the issue, because clearly it had been a faulty item. We were informed they wouldn't return the merchandise to get a reimbursement or alternative (which we'dnot need) since the 12 months warrenty was in the unique purchase day of July. Today, we've had two jacks in 12-month and 3 months equally which have already been faulty. They did not appear worried that it had been a security problem both. We preserve our resources and also have never had something similar to this happen. Our suggestion would be to not trust your lifetime having a Sears Craftsman port - that will be that which you do anytime you utilize a port when focusing on an automobile. Not just is it possible to not trust them to function, however, you can't confidence Sears to back-up their items even if they're a risk for their clients. Embarrassing. After 30 years of buying at Sears for from resources, devices, apparel, etc... It'll be considered a chilly evening in Hades after I walk-in there again to invest a cent. I'm so dissapointed that the reliable brand has sunk to this type of unfortunate degree of customer service.
