Frauds & fakes! 8 Months Of Calls & Emails But Still No REFUND. I'm On A Warpath Marvin!

My saga with AVC aka Marvin & Co began back in Dec when I ordered 2 rings for the Holiday. Christmas came but no rings, I called. The end of Jan was nearing, no rings. I called & was told by the rep my order was never sent to manufacturing but promised I'd have them asap. They arrived but were the wrong color gold & the gems were extremely lighter than the quality gemmy stones that good old Marvin, Sky, & Warren were selling!

I phoned Jan 28th for a RMA # & was put on hold. Several minutes later another recording asked me to leave a voicemail. I did & never heard back. On Jan 29th I sent an email & on Jan 30th rec'd a response from Danise Lindo; the rings were immediately overnighted back. Well, it's March 12th & still no refund so I email. On March 13th, the Customer Relations Mgr, Shahara L Walker responded saying she was looking into it & would get back to me... I NEVER heard back. Another phone call in May were just more unkept promises. August 6th, I placed a call to inform AVC I would be pursuing the refund through my MasterCard & to look for numerous complaints via the internet, BBB of Lawrenceville, etc. Whitney asked me to wait an addt'l 7 days so she could put in for an emergency refund request. It's now September 9th, 4 weeks later, & no refund.

Isn't it appalling that a company can blatantly misrepresent & commit fraud daily on national television & get away with it? It's not with me so after securing my funds from MC, I am going to use the consumer resources available to shut them down.

Did Marvin really think that he & AVC could come close to his father's success at Gem Shopping Network (20yrs & running)? He worked in & around his father's company that holds high standards for quality & service but learned not a thing.instead, he undersells the competition while screwing his customers & now that this business plan hasn't worked out, he's stealing our money to keep afloat!

PS One of you mentioned the AVC website in your complaint... This is not their original website. The original had business addresses, email addresses for Marvin, Sky, etc. It had a mission statement that said, in part, At AVC, we pride ourselves in having the best merchandise, the lowest prices, & world-class customer service (can you believe it). Not sure what happened to it & why the new website... It's basically just a skeleton site that's been a work in progress for months; guess their funds are low.

Marvin & AVC, if you read these... And you should, then 2 sayings come to mind that you should remember in business. First, If you are going to talk the talk, then you must walk the walk. Second, If the fish stinks at the head, then it will stink all the way down to the tail.
