This firm charges an initial fee of $19.95 for a 30-day trial membership.in exchange you receive a software disk with approximately 30 programs and a $20 coupon.

The disk you receive is all shareware, freeware or demo programs, most of which are available over the internet. The coupon you receive can only be used on selected products, most of which you won't be interested in.

If you do not cancel within 30 days you are charged a non-refundable $49.95 to remain a member. The initial $19.95 is non-refundable so if you can't find a way to use the $20 coupon you're out of luck.

One of the telemarketers selling price was the great price on ink cartridges. I had planned to use my $20 in this manner (not being informed otherwise). After comparing shopcv.com's against other sources to buy the identical cartridges I found no significant savings.

The company is upfront about the $19.95 initial charge, the lifetime $49.95 membership fee, and the $20 coupon. They just fail to explain the limitations on the coupon, the fact that the software you receive is all shareware, freeware or demos, and mislead you as to the savings available.
