Avoid Island Ink like the Plague!

I am so angry!
My best girlfriend got a tattoo at island ink a while ago, and it SUCKED.
Here's why.
During the tattoo, she was in so much pain. It was on her ribs, some little letters and numbers, nothing big. She said it hurt so bad, it was like he was sticking the needle in her, not just on her skin. I'm not stupid, i know tattoos are supposed to hurt, but this was ridiculous, she said, she's a really tough girl so i know she would have been able to handle it she has plenty other tattoos. And this tattoo looked horrible! It was blown out and nasty looking, it looked like she got it in jail. (by comparison, her tattoos that she actually got in jail looked wonderful!) it was blown out as hell, just splotchy and raw and generally awful. She went back to talk to the artists and they basicaly told her it was her tough luck and sent her on her way. Touch ups are usually free! She said the manager was especially rude and they didn't even apologize for the horrible job they did! She doesn't know what to do. I told her that she should get the thing covered up, but it seems to have scared her off tattoos! This is a girl with a lot of tattoos.
Apparently this guy that gave her the tattoo has epilepsy or something, for real, i'm not kidding. Like he has siezures, literally. So you want a tattoo from him?
So anyways, i will be the second one after her to tell you NOT to go to Island Ink in Paia to get anything.
They suck suck suck!!!
