May, because of poor service a contract dish repair person exchanged and took our receiver which he returned to Dish. Dec. 2007 being with out service for over 2 weeks, and not being able to get a repair person we cancelled our with Dish.
We returned our receiver in the box provided immediately.

On our Feb. 2008 credit card statement we were charged $167.52, which was for they said the non-return of the Jan. Receiver and the credit owing us for non-used prepaid service. Later by their own words they said the box in question was received on Jan 14. The charge was really for the receiver picked up by the repair person in May. They stated that he had sent it, but they couldn't find it in their warehouse. Later in their words, they said they received it on May 6. As of June 13 Dish had all of their equipment in their posession.

Then the promises started, In April and May each we were promised credit. June 13, would have credit, 7-10 bus. Days, July 3, in 3-5 bus. Days, July 14, on hold for 47 minutes without talking to a live person, recalled to billing dep., would have credit in 7 to t0 bus. Days. Sent letter to Echostar dispute resolution July 14. Received call from executive offices on July 21, would have credit in 7 to 10 bus. Days. Called executive offices on Aug. 4 regarding credit that had not been posted to our credit. Person away from desk until Aug. 8. As of this moment no credit.

I'm open to suggestions.
