Lamar Missouri Walmart store no responsiblity to consumer the business that doesnt give a dam

About 3 years ago my husband was in Walmart getting new tires put on his truck. He went to the restroom and upon coming back out, the bathroom entrance door slammed closed with his index finger in the hinge side. This severed the end of his finger.
A Walmart Associate took him to the local hospital and the cleaned the wound and applied stitches. The Walmart Associate told the clerk in the ER that Walmart would be the one responsible for the bill.
About a month later the hospital called us and said Walmart was refusing to pay and we would have to become responsible. We contacted the store only to be told they had no record of ANY incident. We then contacted the Walmart Headquarters in Bentonville, AR. And were told Walmart was never responsible for medical liability because they did not hold Liability or Medical insurance.
Needless to say upon choosing that store to spend about $375.00 on tires, we got to also pay a $700.00 medical bill.
I believe this was a RIP-OFF!
