Consumer fraud, breach of contract, mistreated ripped off

11/22/99 - I placed an order for an upper receiver. I was told it would take three to four weeks.

12/27/99 - I was called by a representative of Hesse Arms who stated the upper receiver was ready. I mailed Hesse Arms a cashiers check, paid in full.

01/04/00 - The upper receiver arrived via UPS. The receipt was dated 11/22/99.

Inspection - The top of the box was cut folded over and taped. Appeared to be one box and a half box for the top.

Upon opening the box, the upper receiver was wrapped in newspaper.

Upper receiver inspection. - The teardrop forward assist was broke in transit. The crown of the rifle barrel was scratched. The front site base was dented. This could only have happened from the installation with a hammer.

I contacted Robert Hesse, owner, of the three day inspection and the issues I had with the upper receiver. There should have been a three day inspection period by law. According to the receipt that arrived with the upper receiver, the three day inspection period was over by thirty days before it started.

Robert Hesse filed a claim with UPS for the broken forward assist and collected on the claim from UPS.

This product should have never left the business, especially packaged the way it was.

I informed Robert Hesse that I was not satisfied with the product and to issue a call tag. He refused and told me to get an RMA number.

I paid for the shipping to my address. Robert Hesse wanted me to pay for the return shipping, and collect on the UPS claim.

No thing has been fixed that was damaged by him or his employees during assembly or the damage from the shipment! I still have the unusable upper receiver.
