Withholds money

In 2004 we purchased a camp trailer along with a Heritage service warranty contract for $1319 With the information that if we did not use the warranty at all during the four years we would recieve the $1319 back at the end of the four years. We never used the warranty so at the end of the 4 years we sent all the required information to the address listed and now we are told they are waiting for the carrier of the contract to advice them when to send the refund. I asked who the carrier was and the lady snapped at me and said I don't know look on your contract. Well I can not find where it says anything about a carrier. Only our name, the dealers name and the co. The money was borrowed from along with Heritage. Any way it has been two months since we were supposed to recieve the refund.

Today I called the dealership where we purchased this and found out he has 5 more people waiting for a refund from Heritage. Some have been waiting since march.
We did turn this over to the Oregon State Insurance Investigaters. We willl be sending them a copy of our contract along with their completed form. They will be in contact with us within 30-40 days. Apparently this is not an isolated rip off. We also gave the information to the dealership with the web site and phone number so the other 5 victums can do the same. The phone number for them is 1-888-877-4894 and you want to talk to some one in property anbd casualty department or you can go on their web site at www.insurance. Oregon. Gov from there you scroll down to file compaint and click on the language you want it printed in.
