I bought a new car to find out later it had been damaged by the dealership, fixed, and then sold to me as new. I am still, after 3 years, attempting to recover damages. This practice of non-disclosure is illegal in the state of Oregon. The law is narrow and limiting though so this dealership is getting away with this and will continue to use these illegal practices. I do have proof of what they did by the way, I have documents and emails where they claim liability. This still is not enough for them to step up and make things right. I find it hard to understand how they sleep at night. What my husband and I know for sure is... We had to push forward in trying to get them to make this right. If we as consumers do not stand up for our rights, businesses like this will continue to harm consumers, all for the sake of their pocket books and deep seated greed!
