Lousy delivery service the business that doesnt give a damn

UPS is undoubtedly the biggest flop since the United States Post Office.

They try to deliver a package Friday at 1:30. No one is home. Big surprise. It's a work day.

You get a slip. Have to call an 800 number and listen to a robotic multiple choice exam. Then they finally tell you that no one is in the office until Monday.

Weekend drags by.

On Monday left a plain English note to leave the package.

Driver refuses. Apparently their policy is that you can't, even in writing simply request that the damn package be left.

If you own something, you ought to be able to leave it out in the rain if you want. And believe me, with these jerks rain is a bargain.

So I find out after the fact that the robot voice was wrong and that the pickup center was open on Saturday and in fact I could have picked it up had the information been correct.

The only thing that UPS has done right in my humble estimation is to make the U.S. Post Office look efficient. No small feat.
