Don't Do It

Well, MDM Marketing b.K.A. "Kirby" is at it again... What Donna said is absolutely true. My daughter went through the same thing, and no she was not participating in other activities and telling me that she was at work. She was on the phone with me on and off until at least 10:00pm at night worried about how she was going to get home after work, due to public transportation shutting down at 8 or 9. I told her that I would not allow her to work under those conditions and she never returned to work for this company. The one day she did work however, she worked from 12 to 11 P.M. And of course she was initially promised 1600-1800 bucks per month for the job.

The kicker part of the story is this... When it came time for "payday", she went and received a check for $15 bucks... Mind you she actually did sale a vacuum in that one day of working. She took the check to 3 different places, each of which told her that it was a personal check despite the fact that the name MDM Marketing was on it. The check reading system confirmed that it was not a business check. The reason she went to 3 different places was because each one denied cashing it for her, and the bank was already closed. So, she went to the bank the following day, only to be told that the check was non-sufficient! Wow, $15 bucks? Non sufficient? The Manager received a call from me, and it was not a nice call at all. He was very unprofessional and I could tell that he was a scam artist just by the way he responded to my questions. Very evasive, very uncompassionate, and very irritated by my call. He knew what he was doing when he gave her the check. Thank God I don't live there anymore, or he would've been talking to me face to face.

Don't allow your kids to work for this company. This manager, Mark whoever he is, does not care for the kids whatsoever. I don't know how a company such as kirby could even allow him to look at a vacuum cleaner nevertheless distribute them.
