In May I ordered over 500 roses from Online Wholesale Flowers at a cost of over $600.00 for a wedding on June 7. My debit card was charged right away. The woman who took my order, Nina, said the flowers would arrive on Thursday for the Saturday event. When the flowers did not arrive on Thursday, I began calling about 3:00 PM Eastern time that day.

I spoke to Nina (the same woman who took my order) who said she could not help me but would transfer me to "customer service." I got an answering machine. I called back and spoke to Nina, who said she'd transfer me to "shipping" - again I got an answering machine. I called back and spoke to Nina, who said she'd transfer me to a supervisor.

Again - an answering machine. I kept calling all evening, and finally got Nina again, who said she'd talked to the "grower" who said the shipment went out late, and would arrive on Friday. I called UPS and FedEx, and both said they had no shipments scheduled for me on Friday. I tried the company's phone number all day Friday, and never got an answer at all on Friday.

Friday evening I had to drive to every store in a 90 mile radius and buy every rose I could find (which was not easy, since there were hundreds of graduations that weekend, and all the Costco and Sam's stores and WalMart stores were nearly sold out.) It is now July 7 and I still have not been able to speak with anyone at Online Wholesale Flowers, and still, of course, have not received any refund.

I believe that this is a business of one woman who has gotten in over her head and she took my money and couldn't pay for the flowers I ordered. I had used this company twice before, two years ago, and had good service. Now, however, I find that the Better Business Bureau in Las Vegas, where she is located, has nearly 100 recent complaints about customers not receiving their flowers.

Beware - this is a company you can't afford to do business with. Don't risk your wedding or special event to a company that is in trouble so deep they won't even answer their phone. I have had friends with other area codes call and they get right through and tell her I'm trying to contact her, but she's blocking my calls. I am now trying to get a refund through my bank, and have filed a complaint with the NV attorney general, but have not had a response to my complaint yet.
