On Sunday June 22 at 8:00 PM my 11 year old daughter and I went into a tiny little body art shop on Duval Street and near intersection of Southerd and Duval. There where stencil and samples of the temporary body art but no prices, well at Disney and Sea World a temporary henna is between 5 and 10 dollars. Elaborate face painting masks are only 25 dollars. So we both picked out small art work and the young man doing the art work was bragging up his talent and telling us he could use several colors of glitter to enhance the art. We said OK and with in 10 minutes we where both done. My daughter having a sun on the shoulder and me having a cross on my ankle. We went to the register and the owner a drunken cigar smoking old women rang us up at informed me the total was $200.79. I said your joking right. Nope. No joke. I only had 24 dollars on me and my drivers license. No credit cards or anything. We had left it all in the hotel room. They detained my daughter and I for over 30 minutes and kept threatening us and had my daughter in tears. They told me the owner was a "crazy" Pakistani and he would be POed about this situation. Finally after complete badgering they made a copy of my drivers license and told me to call them when I got back to the hotel room and call them with a credit card. Since then, they have called several times and have left very threatening messages on my cell phone. And the 200 dollars tattoos have already faded and lost its glitter in 48 hours. What ever you do, do not go to this shop on Duval street and keep going. They are not a legit business and the key west states attorney office will be looking into this matter. Buyer beware do not get temporary tattoos at a dirty little shop on duval. Don't let this happen to another innocent mother and daughter.
