Credit Card Scam

Had a macy's charge for many years and always paid on time.in December I paid off my balance in full. A recent review of my credit report showed a write-off from Macy's for $8.37back in early 2007. They alledge I owed them $3.80 back in January and I never paid. They say they sent bills and tried to call. Heres the thing - I OWN MY HOUSE AND NEVER HAD AN ADDRESS OR PHONE CHANGE!

So Macy's, how did I get all my other bills, junk mail etc. And your bill for $3.80 allledgedly got returned to you? I now owe $8.27 which is on my credit report as an $8.27 charge off. What a joke. I never moved, but yet you could not find me and then you file a charge back against my credit? What a scam. If you are a Macy's customer and you think you have a zero balance, you may want to get a copy of your credit report.
