Desert realty deception thievery fraud & rape

In November I left my furnished apartment in the hands of Liz Thompson of Desert Realty, 3160 W. Sahara Ave. Suite A-24, Las Vegas to sell, and I returned to FL which is my permanent residence. A month or so later, she called and offered me $200 for the old-style, FL, master bedroom suite which she said she could use in a rental property. I agreed, since I had two couches and a futon in the place which made into beds.

Toward the latter part of July, I called and said I might stop in Vegas and spend a night or two in my place since it had not been sold. That is when I was informed that there was nothing in my apartment, that Liz had purchased the entire apartment for $200 some time ago. That's strange, I said, I've never heard anything about such a transaction or arrangement, nor have I ever received a check for $200.

I'm talking about a completely furnished 2-bedroom, 2 bath apartment containing everything for people to live comfortably—3 TV sets, 2 modern couches which make into beds, a Japanese futon, silverware, cookware of all sorts, dishes and glasses of all sorts, a computer printer and shredding machine, 2 telephones, an answering machine, towels, sheets, tools (gifts from my brother), coffee tables, lamps (both floor and table), cassette/radio with about 10 books on tape, 2 very modern living room chairs (costing at least 3 to 400 dollars each), 3 vacuum cleaners, an Oriental rug, an unused ceiling fan that had not yet been installed in the guest bedroom, a microwave, a coffee pot, a new crock pot, a blender, several paintings, a glass table from Brazil which cost plenty, 2 artifical decor trees, my fire-proof lock box, a small director's chair, an ironing board, iron, broom, mop, toilet plunger, AAA Maps, Atlas, kitchen fold-up ladder, a taller wooden 6 ft. Ladder and much more. Many of the things were personal and dear to me.

Can you imagine that anyone could think that a completely, beautifully, well-furnished apartment would be worth only $200? I couldn't begin to believe this, and it never entered my mind that the woman meant to rip me off completely. Besides, I had never received the $200. She said it was lost. However, sometime after this phone call in July 07, she found it and sent it to me. I bought the apartment before it was built, and I am the only person who ever lived there or used these things, and that was only 3 months out of each year for 9 years

Now, here's the kicker: I was charged $225.00 to prepare the place for showing. This was early on before I knew my realtor was a thief, so I sent the money.

WHAT A FOOL I'VE BEEN, and I should not like anyone else to be ripped off as I have been. The only thing left in my apartment is a half roll of toilet paper. I feel as if I have been raped.

I don't expect to retrieve anything or to bring charges. I just want people to know who is selling real estate in Las Vegas.

It's now June 18, and my place has still not sold. I have to rent a hotel room room in Vegas to do business with another realtor.
