Contracted for Limo service for a period 7 hrs. They left and made other pickup & delivery on our 7 hrs and stole personal items

We contracted with this organization for Limo service for a period 7 hrs. The group was attending the prom in Dallas. The service was late on arrival and then apparently left the kids and went on to do additional transports once they were dropped off. All could have been avoided if the kids had known they were only operating as a taxi service.

I am completely confused as to what the 7 hrs quote included if they were not going to be there as all the other limos were for the entire 7 hours. We have rented Limo's before and they weren't provided as a taxi service. The other 4 times we have rented limo's for a period of time they stayed put until we were ready to leave, hence the 7 hours, you pay to keep that limo for an entire 7 hours, not for the limo to do other runs during that 7 hours. I call the "double dipping". If we wanted a taxi service we would have paid for an hour there and an hour back.

We had 2 of the girls leave personal items in the limo, not aware the limo was leaving. If the limo left to pick up another party then the limo would have been checked by your drivers to insure it was clean based on their web page ad "highest possible standard of service.". The items left would have been found then. So I know they were stolen at that time by the driver.

The items stolen were 2 purses valued at $150.00 along with driver's licenses, Social security card, credit card, checkbook, car and house keys and cash. They initially stated that the limo they came in wouldn't start, so they had to change the limo. Then they said they need the bigger limo for another job. Then they finally stated they had left the prom to go pick up another party and had been held up so they sent a second limo to pick up the kids. They caused the kids to be 4 hrs late to the school function after the prom and everyone in tears.

The driver had my daughter sign a paper in the dark when they arrived at the prom, while it could have been present to us adults when they picked the kids up. My daughter is 17 yrs old and had no idea what she was signing. The verbal contract with the initial arrangements were made for a period of 7 hrs, not for a drop off and pick up. The kids were never informed that the limo would be leaving and returning later.

1st the return of the stolen items and 2nd a discount on the limo charges. We were quoted the limo would have sodas and water chilled. Nothing was provided they had to stop at a gas station to purchase drinks.
In fact the glasses there were dirt and had visibly been used. Nothing as it was presented. Time one hour there and should have been, one hour back, Not the 7 hours we paid for.
