My spouse and I went to the store to get contact lense eye exam and contact lenses under my insurance plan. We had the exact same service.

The bill for me was $32 cash after fees, for my wife $14. I specifically said I am interested in obtaining 4 boxes free (for each eye) after paid deductible. I was ignored and I was told I needed follow-up eye tests (2!) even though I wore contact previously. Even after this I was told more than once I would get 4 boxes.

Ultimately, I got my wife got 4 boxes for each eye and I got two boxes for each eye and 1 week supply (I was told by one month get one month free). After complaining, I got one more box for each eye. When I followed-up the owner was too busy to talk to me and sent me a letter saying eyes need to be tested because they are not like buying shoes! In the end, I paid $18 more than the quote for 4 boxes and received one box less for each eye.
