Lied & Mislead

Beware. I recieved a call stating that my small business had been chosen to recieve grants and there were billions of unclaimed grant money out there for small minority owned businesses. They are smooth fast talkers, it cost $5K, with $2500. Down and guarantee you a minimum of $100K grant before the other $2500 is due, and if they do not get you the $100K first year, they will provide a second twelve month period of service at no charge. They are very professional, great follow up, and are very convincing that your $5K investment is nothing compared to receiving $100K plus.
After signing up; in February Mr. John Maxwell called and had a grant, for a not for profit, that had to be granted in 30 days or the company would loose their tax deduction. And if I submitted $10K he could hand walk my business through to get the Not for profit status, Complete 1023 application form and paralegal services. And could get this $350K grant for my new not for profit company. Then he sends me a list of information he needs for the application. I drop everything to get these reports done and it takes weeks, now they will do that also for an additional fee.
Please know, as I do now, you CANNOT get a tax exempt status in 30 days, 60 days or not even 90 days. So I can say it is ALL A BIG FAT LIE, and Mr. J. Maxwell also stated "if you do not do this someone else will get it" and "he sleeps very well at night based on what he does for people". That is after I told him if this did not happen I would be devistated, this $10K was all the reserves I had.
Well in one year, I do not have $100K grant, the phone number has been disconnected, the web site has been suspended, I STILL do not have tax exempt status, and I have struggled to make my house payment for the past 6 months. Now I have taken over working with the IRS and learning the real way this works, nothing they said was correct, after reviewing their paperwork that went out on my behalf was totally distorted from what I submitted to them. So they did not represent me honestly in the few letters they sent out on my behalf, which were just form letters.
These people walked me through this KNOWING they were going to ruin my financial life from the beginning (because I told them it would) and did it proudly. Please save yourself a great deal of pain and suffering and do not trust this company or their employees. I have tons of documentation and plan to report this to the FTC immediately and encourage any other victims to do the same.
