Small Business Funding Aka Grant Resources Of America
Lies! Lies! Lies! Grant Resource has not delivered on their promise

I wish my story didn't sound so much like everyone else. But alas, I fell for the same scam. I contacted Grant Resources of America based on a referral from a friend. I was told they could get me up to $800,000 for my small business. Grant Resources of American (Small Business Funding) guaranteed me a minimum of $100,000.00 and this would cost $6,800.00. I paid them $2,600.00 for a retainer and would have to pay the remaining balance upon recieving my grant money.

I was told that I would have money with in 60-90 days and they would send out letters of intent with in 1 month. I was also told they had over 80,000 foundations in their data base. Just as a side note, my friend has NEVER received any money either, we both got scamed...!

After three months (not the original ONE I was told) I recieved a report that only had 12 foundations I matched with. I contacted them asking why so few matches and they told me that in order for me to get my money fast and to qualify for more grant money I needed to set up a non-profit organization and they would need me to send them MORE money to do this. I got me very suspicious so I started digging and found several similar complaints on many different companies. Their stories sounded just like mine.

Please don't make the same mistake I did! Do not fall for the guarantee! I have yet to see ANY Grant Money or ANY letters written on my behalf. It seems like when I didn't want to create a non-profit and pay them more money, they were done with me.
