Office Equipment Suppliers Ripping Off a Church

I purchased an AutoFolder from ClaryCo.com, based in San Diego. It was a Martin Yale Model 1601. After it was back-ordered, we received it 3 weeks later and it doesn't work. It destroys everything you put in it.
I get on the phone with the techs to try to work out any kinks so I don't have to send it back. I'm in Alaska, it's insane trying to ship things in and out of here. The techs are impossible to deal with and are dodging my every question.

I finally get authorized to send it back after trying to replace parts on it. I'm told once they verify that there is a problem with it they'll credit me for how much we had to spend on sending it back to them.
ClaryCo has decided in all of this that they won't talk to me. Because the product isn't theirs and it's defective there is nothing they can do so I'm only allowed to talk to Martin Yale.

Martin Yale is now telling me I'm being refused the credit on the $91.91 I had to spend to ship a machine back that didn't work even for a day. A machine I already spent $600 on. They said that their policy (which must be new from what was told to me months ago) is to only cover the cost of shipping the new machine back to me.
