World Moving Services
Caught in the nick of time!

Shops, Products, Services

WMS was recommended to me by a national firm. I don't know if they received a commission for the referral. A month in advance of the move, we had the "binding" estimate done by WMS and paid a substantial deposit.

They charged us over $550 to make the estimate "binding!"

One week before the move, at 11PM on a Saturday night (WMS closes at 3PM Saturdays) we received an email from WMS intimating that they were reevaluating the estimate amount.

Hello! Where is the "binding?"

Where am I supposed to get another mover for an end-of-month move?

Thankfully, we made the deposit on a credit card so we will notify the credit card company of the dispute and have half a prayer of getting it back.

Moves do NOT need to be this stressful but WMS made it so.
