We went to movers.com to find a moving company we had gotten several quotes but we decided to go with All Towns & Country. It was the biggest mistake I could've ever made. The price was probably one of the most reasonable prices but they moved like snails. We were told that they could get our stuff to us in 7 days well our stuff sat a full 7 days before it even left out to the west coast. Then we don't get status updates so we're not sure when to be prepared or ready for our stuff. Then we get the update and they tell us that our stuff will be to us on Saturday. So just to be clear our stuff was picked on a Saturday then sat for a full week then loaded for transport on a Friday then got a call on Tuesday saying we'll have it Saturday so essentially it took a full 2 weeks as opposed to the 7 days we were told we could have.

We ask them where the truck is and they say Arizona now at this point we're already upset because of how long it took but now we want to know why it will take them from Tuesday - Saturday to get to Arizona. We've driven from NJ to California so we know how long it takes to get form Arizona to California. They tell us another customer was ready so they were held up for two days waiting for that customer. Now why does everyone else who has paid and is ready have to wait for one customer who is not ready. Why couldn't they make that person reschedule or continue delivering and come back for that person?

At this point we're already paid the full amount for the moving which was close to $2,000.00 Friday night comes (night before the scheduled drop off date) they show up at 11:00p at NIGHT! Wanting to move in our stuff. Have they ever heard of a noise ordinance? You cannot move someone's stuff in at 11:00 at night. We were already in bed off to sleep. We told them to come back the next day as originally planned. They said they would be here between 7:00a - 8:00a in the morning. Well next morning comes and no phone call no nothing, we tried calling them but no answer. We waited until the corporate office opens and call them.

The corporate office informs us that they're unable to deliver our items! They said that there is no where to park an 18 wheeler truck and WE have to rent a smaller truck for them to use to move our stuff and they can do it Sunday. I told them hell no! I told them it had to be done that day and we're not paying another $100 to rent a truck. I told them they can leave the truck parked closer to one side of the street so cars can go around.instead of just going with that they spend the next 3 or so hours trying to convince us to rent a truck. I told the girl at the corporate office we're not paying for it. She tried to get voice tress with my husband but then we he told her about all of the problems we've had with her company since day one all of a sudden she's like "I'm just the middle man". After they finally realize we're not paying for the truck they then say they cannot deliver our stuff because there are signs on the street that say no truck allowed. Now how is it that they came that street the night before but couldn't come down that day? All of a sudden these signs have just appeared? There were NO SIGNS ANYWHERE! The only signs that were on our street are the ones that forbid turning down certain streets after certain hours of the night.

They come to deliver our stuff they don't ask us where we want stuff they just come and drop it in. I had to tell ask them to move everything to the places I wanted it. When they would put stuff together they would just set up in which ever way is easiest for them w/o asking. For all of the stress I went through with this I could've rented a uhaul and moved myself! These guys were just pulling our chain! I've filed a BBB complain it will be their 4th complaint on record. I'm telling you watch out do now use this company!
