Allways moving overcharged, stopped in middle of move and stole items from our home

This was by far the worst moving experience of my life. I was quoted $400 for the move of my 5 bedroom home, to a location 57 miles away. The movers were 3 hours late, showed up in a rented truck, only got half of our items into the truck in 4 hours then told us they would have to do 2 trips. We told them we wouldn't pay for 2 trips they said no problem. We drove to the new location and waited for 3 hours. Kept calling the corp. Office and was finally told that their truck broke down and they had to rent a new truck and reload. They finally showed with our first load at 5pm unloaded then told us they had to leave because they couldn't work for more than 8 hours. We had been told by home office they would work until job was done. They charged us for the truck breaking down or wouldn't give us our stuff back. We called and said the next day had to be free, they owner told us we had to pay or we wouldn't get our stuff.

The movers showed up the next morning, loaded the truck and then came to our new location and threw all items (breaking almost everything) into our garage. They stole my son's iPod Touch and our Wii. We complained to the owner and he said not his problem. We ended up paying over $900 and having to replace so much of our stuff that was broken and the stolen items. The worst part is that we seem to have no recourse. I just don't want this to happen to someone else.
