When my previous pre paid card through Ecount expired I called and had a new one ordered and was guaranteed delivery on Feb 4th as I paid extra to have it guaranteed. When the 4th rolled around I called into customer service wondering where my card was, the represenative tracked it online for me and informed me the card was delivered to the wrong address and that there were fraudulant charges on the card. They told me it would be a few days and I would get my money back so I alerted my apartment office as that money stolen was my rent money. 2 weeks came and went, no refund on the stolen funds, called in inquiring again, and now was told 30 days. I then called back and asked them why it is when I call to check my balance I am asked 3 secruity questions, but to set up a pin number one a new card all that is asked is my zip code, which the people had access to as it was on the package. Now a month later I still have not seen my money and am now in a financial crisis. Because the money was not refunded in a timely fashion I had to come up with rent again on my own paying it 20 days late at a 10 a day late fee, now putting me in the position of either paying marchs rent or payin my past due car payment because that got behind in having to come up with rent again. Now when I call them asking where my money is they are telling me 90 days. I then told them I am going to find a lawyer because this was due to their neglance in mailing out a PRE ACTIVATED card contaning my money. Even if the card was delivered to the wrong address if it has secruity on it, those people would not have been able to access my funds. Every time I call to inquire the status of my refund the people are rude and make this seem like it was my irresponsibilty. The card never even came into my hands! I filed a police report and the person who did spend my money has already been caught before my refund has taken place!!! I ask them to please speak with my car company to explain the delay on my funds to help plead my case with them on being behind and they refuse to even help at all! I have had a card through these people for 5 years and I am being treated like a criminal when I am the victim. This is getting ridiculous and I am going to take all actions I can against this company.
