Windows installed improperly, poor customer service, still waiting for a window after 8 months Albuquerque New Mexico

My husband and I ordered 5 window and 2 patio door replacement windows from Home Depot June 28. They started the installation July 6. The installers left a total mess for me to clean up, including metal scraps left all over my patio and deck. They were supposed to clean up, clean the windows, and explain to me how the windows worked as far as cleaning, but did not. They were here about 10 hrs, and were rushing to get through. There were parts on the sliding doors that were not put on, and others put on incorrectly. One bedroom window had to be replaced because it didn't fit, but they installed it anyway. We're still waiting for another bedroom window to be replaced as I type this.

We complained of air coming in through sliding glass doors and some windows, so they came back and recaulked around them, which didn't help. We have been waiting for approximately 1 month for someone to come to our house and check the air coming in. Nobody has called us back yet. I really believe they were installed improperly, and I will not pay for them until they are. This has been the worst customer service I have experienced in a while. Total cost of windows was $8142.49.
