Credit Denied for Too Many Inquiries Despite 790 Score

I was never sent a letter of denial but after 3 months I called them to see what was going on and they said you were denied!

I ask them for a written explanation but never received one.

They did confirm verbally that it was denied because of recent inquiries.

I explained that I own several restaurants and franchises and they requires me to apply for credit! Electric, gas, phone, suppliers, visa acceptance, etc. This however has nothing to do with my ability to re pay a debt. I have a 790 credit score that goes between 810 and 790 on the lower end. In other words Perfect credit! Well over 2.5 million in lines in business and 2.1 in personal lines.

If they denied me I ask who is it that they serve as a customer. I believe I was denied because I pay my credit card bills off in full every month. If the response was you have too much outstanding credit I would not be as angry. Screw Capitol One, I went with Citibank who by the way gave me 50K right away!!!
