On December 14, I signed up for Vonage phone service. Before I even committed to Vonage, I inquired on information about compatibility. I was told that Vonage would be a good option for my family and I. After receiving the Vonage device, I learned very quickly that the service was extremely poor. After countless attempts to improve the quality of our service, I chose to cancel my account.

I was told that there was a disconnection fee of $48.40. I, then, found out that I was charged $28.99 for the service when I had been told that I had the first 60 days of service free of charge. So I chose to return the device and have my account canceled when Vonage received the device. I sent the device back on the 3rd of January. It was received in Pennsylvania on January 7th. Then I was informed that I was supposed to send it to a special warehouse in New Jersey. As of this evening, the location of the device is unknown.

The run around that I have received has been endless. I have spoken to more than a dozen Vonage employees. I have been lied to and continually misled. At the present time I do not see an end of the charges and hassle, in the near future. I also dont have much hope as far as being reimbursed as I previously thought.
