I signed up for MCI's new The Neighborhood Plan. It is one flat rate for all your local, long distance and all calling features. After two and a half months and over ten phone calls (many times on hold for over half an hour) My voice mail was still never activated. I never recieved my caller ID box, I never received any kind of welcome package explaining all my services and features and how to use the features. When people would call my house and I wasn't home to answer, they would recieve a message that my phone was disconnected.

8 different employess assured me that these would be fixed immediately and nothing ever happened to fix these problems. I finally quit my service with them and notified them that I would not be paying any of the bill, since the service never functioned properly and I never recieved the features I should have. They still insist on billing me and are threatining to turn me over to collections. No wonder MCI is going through a slow death, if this is how they conduct their business.
