Ripoff consumer fraud false promises slow processing thieves swindlers

I recieved a letter from Capitol Advantage stating that I had been approved for a Mastercard. Knowing that I had limited credit, and wanted the extra advantage on paying bills, I accepted. Advantage Capitol promised with the payment of $175.00 I was guaranteed 0% interest throughout the life of the credit card. I was also promised a $2500 limit.

This all sounded great, so I gave them my bank account number, and they made a transaction for the amount. After several weeks I saw nothing in the mail as promised. I waited for one more month and after seeing nothing, proceeded to call them back. They said it must have gotten lost in the mail and sent me another package. This continued for one more month until I decided I wanted my money back.

I phoned them and made complaints saying I wanted a refund. Eventually, they agreed to get the money to me. I was told to get the bank statement and fax it to the company. I hadn't heard from them so I called back.

Now they are not even answering the phone. The line is going dead after many rings. I fear I will not get my money back. Being a college student, this money is very much needed.
