Ripoff-scam for people trying to reestablish credit consumer rip-off fraud victimized many consumers

I was called and offered the Advantage Capital package for the fee of $159.95 plus shipping and handling for a total of $174.90.

I was told that I would receive their package to reestablish my credit as well as a credit card with a credit limit up to $2500.00. I gave a check over the phone in the amound of $174.90 dated 1 May.

I received the package around the 18th of May. After reading it, I decided that I did not want to participate in their program, and according to the instructions in the introductory letter, sent the entire package pack to Advantage Capital with a letter stating that I did not want to participate and to refund my money in the amount of $159.95.

This was sent back to Advantage Capital on 22 May. On 27 Jun I called the company and asked where my refund was at this point and was told that I did not call and get an authorization code to return my package.

I stated that this was not stated in the package and I wanted my money refunded. I was told that I would receive the package again and could request an authorization code and then return the package again.

I waited until 13 August and called back again. This time I was told that my enrollment was cancelled but that I could not receive any refund because it was over 30 days.

I want my money refunded - I returned the package well within the 30 days stated in the introductory package - in fact it was returned within a week of receipt.

I don't think this company is legal and above board - they must scam many people out of enormous amounts of money. They are taking advantage of consumers. This company is a fraud and rip-off.
