Collection crooks

Douglas & Ryan, Inc. Run by Al Townsend is a complete rip off. We acquired their collection services and were given a rate sheet as to what each account would be charged once they were able to collect.

They never stuck to this rate sheet and always charged me to much. They sent montly statements on my collection accounts; however, the statements were false and they had already collected on my accounts just never told me. They pocketed the money they collected.

We actually closed the account due to lack of collections and because of the problems with the rates they were charging. We had no idea that they were stealing the money until we hired a National collection agency. Because once we put the collections into their hands we were told that our customers did pay.

To top it all off we ended up having to pay the new collection agency more fees because these accounts had already been collected on. Multiple phone calls were made to Al Townsend to get the funds on our collected accounts but all calls were ignored!

This company is a complete ripoff! They steal your money right from under you. We are currently filing suit against this company and hope that this notice gets to all of their future clients.
