I would like to file a complaint with a t-mobile store:

This rep was terrible, needs to learn some customer service, and robbed my son's prepaid account of the remaining balance of approx. $44.00 leaving only $0.30 on phone number, as a bought a Nokia 6030 to-go phone after my son lost/misplaced his a couple of months ago, and had about half of the $100 intial prepaid card left on his phone.

I bought the phone at the South Hills village store on 9-12-07 for $39.99 taking the $30 rebate form to the store with me, and left with my son's number transfered over to the phone and the rebate form in the bag. The employee - #1990962 could only put $25 on the phone at purchase and said to call t-mobile to go and put the remaining on the next day.

When filling out the rebate form, I called T-mobile to get the account number to put on the phone, and talking to a nice rep, she said the phone number that came with the phone needed activated, and one call needed to be made to get the rebate.

I called the store the next day, and the employee who sold me the phone said I would not get the rebate since they was a corporate store, and I needed to buy it at non-corporate store. He said i could send in the rebate and may/maynot get the rebate. I checked with t-mobile to see if the org. Phone number was activated, and they said it was, but when talking to the employee #1990962 (Clerk that sold me it), he said it was since he put that sim in another phone and sold it to another customer, and I would not get the rebate since the name/address would be different. He said I could return the phone and buy it somewhere else.

So on 9-15-07, i took the phone back, and he said, i had to pay $20.00 for the SIM card. I refused to pay $20, I got my money back, but the prepaid balance went down to. 30 when checking tonight.

This is theft. Please help. I told the clerk I will never come back this store, and he said "GOOD". I called to mobile to go 800 number and explained the situation and he said the store that gave me a difficult time had to call and put my son's remaining $44 back on, and I don't want to deal with that store. I doubt they will. I need some help, someone please help my son. Thanks.
