Card billed repeatedly and 18-month contract imposed after one-year deal

*beware* beware* beware* beware * beware*

Folks, I cannot stress enough how important is that you and anyone you know stay away from this company. I am 52 years old and I thought that over the years I'd had some bad experiences with companies however, nothing compares to the problems I've had with Dish Network. They also operate under the names of Ecostar Satellites LLC, Satellites unlimited and a host of others. Although the address on my receipt says Alabama I have since found that you will never get an actually address on these guys. It seems that they only exist in cyberspace. And good luck with customer service. You will get a scripted telemarketer from Bangladesh that could care less about your concerns.

Now to my main complaints:

1. They will bill your Credit card without your permission repeatedly.

2. The representatives are rude and not helpful.

3. Service and programming is terrible.

4. Satellite constantly goes out of service.

5. I was given a one year contract and yet they are trying to hold me to an 18
month contract which I never signed.

6. The company is in my opinion not trustworthy.

In closing. If you need satellite service try Direct TV.

*and never under any circumstances give this company your checking account number or even a check once they get that number your in trouble. And never ever give them your credit card number or your social security number*
