Contractor rip off

This company suggested that they could increase the residential presence of our mostly commercial business. What we found was that the leads they send are completely unqualified.

90% of the leads we paid for we could not get to return our calls. Basically dead end leads. We have a full time office staff that would return emails within minutes of receiving a lead. Still no one would call back. We spent several hundreds of dollars weekly for these worthless leads.

We upgraded to the Exact Match program thinking that this would be beneficial. Not at all in fact we found it to be more expensive but no different. We did receive a few extra "benefits". I use the term loosely.

We cancelled for these reasons and discovered a year later that they had only suspended our service, the whole time they were advertising a website that was the first link on Google where they listed a phone number that was to their office where they answered the phone using our name.

We only found this out because an existing customer call it trying to find us. We called as a potential customer to be told that "We" were not accepting leads in our area.

So the whole time they were advertising our name, funneling any web traffic that was searching our companies name and then selling us the leads generated by our name.

So while we were paying them for the leads they were funneling our business and selling it back to us. When we quit paying them they were funneling our business to our competitors.

We tried for weeks to stop them and only after nearly a month of correspondence from our attorneys and my demands to our attorneys to take legal action and file an injunction did they remove the link. So in the end they cost us close to $6000.00 in lead fees and attorneys fees.

We did not get a single job, and only about 1 in 9 leads would we even get to talk to. Your money is better spent handing out flyers.
